  Michael J. Zysik, O.D.

  Dr. Michael Zysik graduated with B.A in Biology from Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY, in 1988.  He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1994. Before purchasing Pinnacle Eye Group in Perrysburg with his wife in 1999, he was employed in his home town of Massena, NY, in an Ophthalmology/Optometry group practice.  He was then on staff at the Toledo Clinic in the ophthalmology department from 1999 through 2007.  Dr. Zysik volunteers his time for “Infant See” eye exams for infants 6 to 12 months of age.  Dr. Zysik is also a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Association.  He enjoys snow and water skiing, swimming, playing ice hockey, and spending time with his family.

  Julie Yi Zysik, O.D.

  Dr. Julie Yi Zysik is a native of Toronto, Canada, and received her B.S. in Biology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1989. She received her Optometric Doctorate with high honors from the New England College of Optometry where she attended school from 1990 to 1994. She also practiced with her husband in northern New York State in a group practice before moving to Perrysburg. Dr. Zysik volunteers and provides eyecare to the homeless at The Mildred Bayer Clinic.  She also volunteers for Prevent Blindness of America, providing complimentary comprehensive eye care for those in need.  Dr. Zysik is a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Association.  She is an avid ice hockey fan, enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her family.
  
  The Zysik family resides in Perrysburg with their three children.

  Connie

  Connie is our billing specialist. She is happy to help you with your medical and vision insurance eligibility and benefits.

  Jim

  Jim, a dual licensed optician, graduated from the Owens College Opthalmic program and subsequently served as a part time instructor.  A life long Toledoan and avid Rocket fan, Jim and his wife reside in south Toledo.

  Renee

  Renee is the clinic coordinator and an optometric assistant.  She is reponsible for taking patient histories, performing diagnostic tests and procedures, and is involved with the contact lens clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her husband and two boys, and is a fan of college football. Go Irish!

  Rachael

  Rachael is part of the front desk team. She is responsible for scheduling appointments and is happy to discuss with you all the services and products our office has to offer. Rachael enjoys spending her spare time with her children and attending their sporting events.

  Jen

  Jennifer has almost 25 years of experience as a licensed optician. Jennifer joined our team of opticians in 2012, and prides herself in finding that "just right" frame for all her clients. In her spare time she enjoys reading, any kind of outdoor activity and spending as much time as possible with her husband and three daughters.

  Michelle

  Michelle has been in the optical field since 1999, joining Dr. Zysik's office in 2012. She is part of the front desk team, but can also be found in the dispensary at times, helping patients choose current fashions in eyewear or making adjustments to your current glasses for that perfect fit. On the weekends you will find Michelle and her husband cheering on their son at a football game, or attending a dance recital or girl scout activities for their daughter.

  Adam

  Adam is one of our doctors' ophthalmic assistants. He is responsible for performing diagnostic testing, such as retinal photography and ultrasounds of the back of the eye, in addition to taking patient history and all other pre-testing for the doctors. When he is not in the office, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time with family and friends.
