  Michael J. Zysik, O.D.

  Dr. Michael Zysik graduated with B.A in Biology from Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY, in 1988.  He received his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in Boston in 1994. Before purchasing Pinnacle Eye Group in Perrysburg with his wife in 1999, he was employed in his home town of Massena, NY, in an Ophthalmology/Optometry group practice.  He was then on staff at the Toledo Clinic in the ophthalmology department from 1999 through 2007.  Dr. Zysik volunteers his time for “Infant See” eye exams for infants 6 to 12 months of age.  Dr. Zysik is also a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Association.  He enjoys snow and water skiing, swimming, playing ice hockey, and spending time with his family.

  Julie Yi Zysik, O.D.

  Dr. Julie Yi Zysik is a native of Toronto, Canada, and received her B.S. in Biology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, in 1989. She received her Optometric Doctorate with high honors from the New England College of Optometry where she attended school from 1990 to 1994. She also practiced with her husband in northern New York State in a group practice before moving to Perrysburg. Dr. Zysik volunteers and provides eyecare to the homeless at The Mildred Bayer Clinic.  She also volunteers for Prevent Blindness of America, providing complimentary comprehensive eye care for those in need.  Dr. Zysik is a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Association.  She is an avid ice hockey fan, enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her family.
  
  The Zysik family resides in Perrysburg with their three children.

  Connie

  Connie is our billing specialist. She is happy to help you with your medical and vision insurance eligibility and benefits.

  Jim

  Jim brings over 12 years experience as a licensed spectacle and contact lens optician. He is a graduate of the Owens Optician program and subsequently became a part time instructor as well. A life-long Toledoan, Jim, his wife and two children reside in South Toledo.

  Renee

  Renee is the Front Desk Coordinator and an optometric assistant. She is responsible for scheduling appointments, patient check in/out. She also takes patient histories, performs diagnostic tests and procedures, and is involved with the Contact Lens clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing with her husband and children, and is a fan of college football. Go Notre Dame!

  Rachel

  Rachel is part of the front desk team. She is responsible for scheduling appointments and is happy to discuss with you all the services and products our office has to offer. Rachel enjoys her spare time with her children and attending their sporting events.

  Belinda

  As our Optometric Technician, Belinda has years of experience in both optometry and ophthalmology and assists the doctors with patient care. She manages the contact lens practice and acts as our LASIK Coordinator. Her LASIK knowledge allows her to answer questions and concerns about LASIK surgery, and will direct all unanswered questions to our doctors.
