Our Doctors

Dr. Michael Zysik is a graduate of Hartwick College, Oneonta, N.Y., where he received his B.A. in Biology in 1988. He received his O.D., from the New England College of Optometry where he attended graduate school from 1990 to 1994. Before purchasing Pinnacle Eye Group in Perrysburg with his wife in 1999, he was employed by an Opthalmology/Optometry group practice in northern New York state. He is also currently on staff at The Toledo Clinic, Opthalmology Department. Dr. Zysik is a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Association.

 

 

Dr. Julie Yi Zysik received her B.S. in Biology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada in 1989. She received her Optometric Doctorate with high honors from the New England College of Optometry where she attended school from 1990 to 1994. She also practiced with her husband in northern New York state in a group practice before moving to Perrysburg. Dr. Zysik is a member of the Ohio and American Optometric Association.

The Zysik family resides in Perrysburg with their three children.

Our Staff

Connie		Connie is our billing specialist. She is happy to help you with your medical and vision insurance eligibility and benefits.
Jolie		Jolie is our Optical Dispensary Coordinator. She is a licensed optician and has years of experience in the optical industry. Jolie thoroughly enjoys keeping our frame selection up to date with the latest fashions, and stays abreast of the latest technologies in ophthalmic lenses.
Jim		Jim brings over 12 years experience as a licensed spectacle and contact lens optician. He is a graduate of the Owens Optician program and subsequently became a part time instructor as well. A life-long Toledoan, Jim, his wife and two children reside in South Toledo.
Belinda		Belinda is our Optometric Technician. She has years of experience in both the optometry and ophthalmology field and assists the doctors with patient care. Belinda manages the contact lens practice and acts as our LASIK Coordinator. Her knowledge of LASIK allows her to answer most of your questions and concerns about LASIK surgery, and will direct all unanswered questions to our doctors before you see them.
Maria		Maria is an optometric assistant and is the newest addition to the Pinnacle Eye Group team. She is responsible for welcoming you to the practice and performing all diagnostic testing before you see the doctors. She is also trained in taking digital photographs of the back of the eye, or retina, and assists the doctors in the exam room. Maria is also a licensed optician with many years experience in the optical field.
Renee		Renee is the Front Desk Coordinator and an optometric assistant. Renee is responsible for scheduling appointments, patient check in and check out. As an assistant, she takes patient histories, performs diagnostic tests and procedures, and is involved with the Contact Lens clinic. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and is a big fan of college football. Go Notre Dame!
Rachel		Rachel is part of the front desk team. She is responsible for scheduling appointments and is happy to discuss with you all the services and products our office has to offer. Rachel enjoys her spare time with her children and attending their sporting events.
Brekke		Brekke is the newest addition to the Front Desk Team. She is responsible for verifying benefits and eligibility with your insurance company and making appointments. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her son.
